Routine #11, Card Discuss : Evilswarm Ophion

Hello. Sorry for the late posting. after this all months i made this blog, i think i can only post a new posts once a week. sorry for that. and the day is random. the point is, i only post a new post once a week, every week. Now, to the card discuss.

2 Level 4 "Evilswarm" or "Steelswarm" monsters
While this card is face-up on the field with XYZ Material, neither player can special summon level 5 or higher monsters. Once per-turn, you can detach 1 XYZ material from this card; add 1 "Infestation" Spell or Trap from your deck to your hand.

This card, is a great card. make no special summoned level 5 or higher monster exist as long this card face-up and has a xyz material(s) plus, once per turn i can detach to fetch 1 infestation spell or trap from my deck.
2250 attacker. not bad. this card just almost like a lockdown card. no Scrap Dragon, no Stardust, no Malefics, no Shooting Quasar combo, no JDs, no Grapha. great right? this card stops a lot of things. well, this card need 2 level 4 Evilswarm or Steelswarm monster. that's the bad part. because, only steelswarm or evilswarm deck can use this card. and the another bad part is, neither player can special summon level 5 or higher. not only your opponent, but, luckily, Steelswarm and Evilswarm is far from SS a level 5 or higher. Steelswarm SS cell, or from caller eff, well, only mantis can be negated. and evilswarm mostly Special Summoning a XYZ monsters. so this card is great with those both Archetype. and that's the reason i play this card.

Sadly, Evilswarm not released yet in the TCG. but Evilswarm are a great deck to summon an XYZ monster. this Archetype work great with Rescue Rabbit. in my opinion, evilswarm rescue rabbit will make a new top deck.
